AIB Campus Housing

An important part of a student's education is the environment in which he or she lives. AIB campus living adds a valuable dimension to the student's total college experience.

Why Live on Campus?

Forget the typical small, cramped dorm rooms. AIB's apartment-style housing gives each student enough space to spread out. The halls are equipped with one- and two-bedroom apartments which are partially furnished, carpeted and air-conditioned. Plus, living on campus is a great way to get connected and stay active in the community. There is never a boring moment when you live in AIB's Residence Halls.

Here are our five favorite reasons to live on campus:
  1. Involvement and Friends:
There are many activities on campus such as intramurals, hall parties and meetings, basketball games, dances, etc. Students living on campus easily connect and attend events together.
  2. Apartment-Style Housing:
When you think of typical college housing, you usually think of small, cramped dorm rooms. Our one-bedroom apartments are approximately 640 sq. ft. and two-bedroom apartments range from 710 sq. ft. to 940 sq. ft. The apartments are partially furnished with a sofa, armchair, stove, refrigerator, table with four chairs, bed and dresser. If you have your own furnishings, please let us know so we can best accommodate you.
  3. Safety and Security:
Residence Life staff and/or security are available 24 hours a day. Merk, Dalton and Fleur residence halls are equipped with a security system – only residents have keys that unlock the entrances. Fenton Hall entrances are locked at 10:00 p.m. every night; only residents and registered guests with proper identification will be admitted in by safety officers or staff members. Security cameras are also placed throughout the campus to monitor the AIB parking lots and grounds.
  4. Price and Convenience:
Living on campus means you don't have to spend the extra money for gas to drive to class; instead, you can walk anywhere on campus in less than 5 minutes. The cost of AIB apartments includes cable, Internet, utilities, local telephone service, activities center membership and furniture. It would be hard to find an apartment complex that can match our price!
  5. Higher Academic Success:
Students living on campus are more likely to use the computer labs, library and tutoring resources available at AIB.
