International Student Association
Mission Statement:The International Student Association’s goal is to create a community of students, international and U.S., for the purpose of learning, exchanging, and valuing diverse ideas and cultures, in order to experience personal growth, promote civic interaction, and provide mentoring and support for students thus connecting them to the college campus and to the surrounding business community.
Activities:Organized in 2010, the International Student Association hopes to increase the awareness of the different cultures and countries on campus. The group had the following accomplishments in its first year:
- Participation in the AIB International Food Fest
- Visit to a local authentic Italian restaurant
- Tour of the Iowa Historical Museum
