Alpha Iota Sorority

Alpha lota Mission Statement:
Founded at AIB in 1925 by Elsie M. Fenton, Alpha Iota has chapters throughout the United States and has initiated more than 65,000 members. Des Moines has an active chapter and an alumnae chapter. An invitation to join is made on the basis of scholarship, citizenship, leadership potential, and professional demeanor. Alpha Iota women may apply to live in the Alpha Iota Sorority House on campus.
