Online Learning Technology Requirements
Accessing AIB's Online Learning is simple with technical support available 24/7. But to ensure you have the best education experience possible, students enrolling in this program will be required to demonstrate certain competencies in the use of technology and confirm that they have the following abilities:
- Use email to correspond with faculty, staff and students
- Access, create, and save documents in Microsoft® Office® formats.
- Browse the Web including downloading common plug-ins, configuring common browser options and installing software.
- Configure and run applications, including an antivirus application to ensure that the student's system is secure and transmitted files are virus free.
The following are the minimum and recommended system requirements for students taking an online class at AIB:
