The Travel and Hospitality Management - Business Administration major prepares students for positions within the travel and tourism industry including leisure, corporate and incentive travel departments, airlines, hotels, tourist attractions, and organizations. The courses in the program provide a strong education in travel and tourism along with an emphasis on sales and marketing and accounting. This combination of classes provides the student with a well-rounded education that will prepare them for a broader choice of careers.
- An Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in this major can be completed in seven terms by earning 18 quarter credit hours per term. Curriculum specific to travel begins only in the fall term and must be completed through day classes.
- Upon successful completion of an Associate degree, students may continue work at AIB toward a Bachelor of Science degree program in either Accounting or Business Administration.
