The administrative responsibility for Campus Safety at AIB College of Business rests with the Vice President and Dean of Students Office.
Campus Safety is the responsibility of every member of this community, and we encourage the involvement of all campus members in keeping AIB a safe and secure environment for education. It is the responsibility of each member of the College to report the occurrence of a known crime to the Campus Safety Office. To strike the appropriate balance between the needs of a crime victim and the need for crime reporting, The Jeanne Clery Act emphasizes the responsibility of those campus administrators who have significant responsibility for student and campus activities to report known crimes.
AIB SAFETY SERVICES:
- Safety protection and awareness: the patrolling of campus areas with primary concern for personal safety of all students, staff, faculty, and visitors.
- On-campus escorts upon request.
- Liaison services to all local law enforcement agencies.
- Monitoring safety conditions and filing safety-related work requests and reports.
- Enforcement of campus vehicle registration and parking regulations.
- Campus facilities access control.
- Fire, health, safety and risk management responsibilities.
