Here’s a look at last year:

Over $11 million in financial assistance was awarded to AIB students. AIB students received over $5 million in grants and scholarships. State-funded Iowa Tuition Grants averaged $2,900 per eligible student. Pell Grants averaged $2,334 per eligible student. Borrowing under the Subsidized Stafford Loans program was approximately $3,200 per borrower. Students earned over $230,000 working on-campus. Grants and scholarships funded by AIB totaled almost $2.2 million.
