JANUARY
|
Complete the green AIB Institutional Aid Application & return to AIB.

FEBRUARY
|
File Student & Parent (if dependent) 2007 Federal Income Tax Returns.
Student & Parent (if dependent) apply for PIN at www.pin.ed.gov
Complete the 2008-2009 FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The priority deadline to complete the FAFSA, AIB Institutional Aid Application, and the AIB Admission Application (for new students) is April 1, 2008.

Remember, forms must be received by April 1 to meet the AIB institutional priority deadline.*

APRIL
|
The Financial Aid Office may need additional information from you; therefore, read all of your mail carefully and promptly return requested information.
A file review will be conducted when all information has been received.

MAY
|
Once the file is complete and checked for accuracy, an award notice will be sent via mail.
A copy of your award notice will need to be signed and returned to AIB upon receipt. If you are a first time Perkins borrower, additional information will need to be completed and returned to AIB as well.
Determine loan borrowing needs and return necessary documents to AIB.

|
Complete Master Promissory Note (s) and Entrance Counseling when requested to do so if necessary.
